Halloween 2008

The boys are so excited about Halloween. We are going to carve pumpkins tomorrow after school then go trick-or-treating. Nate is going to be Spiderman, Tony a ninja and Ellie a monkey. Grandma is going to hang around the house and give out candy.
Things are still crazy around the house. Doug and I spent 3 hours in the garage last night trying to organize our stuff so I could exercise.
Nate had a party at school yesterday. He had so much fun!!
Tony's school does not have a party. They are to wear their favorite sporting team clothing or school colors. You guessed it, Tony is wearing his Lakers jersey.
Hope all is well.

Our First Month in South Carolina
We have settled in to our home. Things have been quite crazy around the Smith house. We just love South Carolina.
Tony is doing amazing in school. We are so proud of him. He has surpassed any of our expectations. He is writing his name, letters w/ help, knows 95% of his letters and the sounds that they make. I think he may be reading by Christmas! When we were in AZ he struggled to write his name. The school exceeded all of our hopes for Tony. He has made some friends but misses the Flanagan boys, Kyla, Strius, Shea from school, Makayla, Bryce (sorry is I spelled Makayla's name wrong), and his three girls (Jess, Julia and Jackie). He is constantly on his bike, scooter and quad. He rides that w/ his cousin Cody. The poor kid has so many bruises from playing so hard. He has learned how to play tug of war and loves it. Tony is cracking us up!
Nate just started school last week and loves it. He is no longer in developmental preschool. YEAH! I am sure some day he will be the president or a millionaire from some type of sales. Doug was unloading our moving truck w/ Charlie and Nate went and knocked on the the neighbor's door and said Hi I am Nate Smith. The kid is cracking everyone up! nate goes to school at a church on Monday, Weds and Friday. We had a lot of mommy, Nate, grandma and Ellie time before he started school. That was nice. He is also missing his friends but loves the freedom here.
Ellie is the most precious baby in the world! She is finally sleeping through the night. We took her last week for her shots, which she hated. Ellie screamed so loud!!! She has quite the temper... Doug says that she has my wonderful Irish temper. My mom actually agrees. El has started to smile and babble. We just love that. Her older brothers love her so much. The other day I was sitting on the couch with her and Nate and Nate said mom do you know who I love more than anything in the world and I said who (thinking he was going to say mom) and he said El. They love to feed and play with her. Tony even asks to change her diaper.
Hope all is well.
Love,
Doug, Tammy, Tony, Nate and Ellie.
